Charlotte Dipanda appointed UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador

Charlotte Dipanda is UNICEF’s new Goodwill Ambassador. She came to confirm her commitment in Yaoundé, Cameroon, her country. For the young woman, serving as a role model for children is an honour. “It is with great emotion and joy that I have the honour and pleasure of announcing that I have been appointed today as a UNICEF ambassador. The child, a just cause, a just fight,” she wrote to her fans.

Charlotte Dipanda is determined to use her fame to send a positive message to Cameroon’s youth.

To start with, the diva has decided to visit the town of Monatélé, in the Central region of Cameroon, on 13 June to raise awareness about the importance of protecting children through birth registration, nutrition and vaccination.

Charlotte Dipanda joins the list of UNICEF national goodwill ambassadors so far composed of Samuel Eto’o, Fabrice Ondoa and Gino Sitson.
