The official opening of MASA on Saturday, March 7, 2020 will be marked by “Abidjan Dance Parade” which is a parade of 2020 dancers in the streets of Abobo. They will dance to the rhythm of the music of the group Espoir 2000 and Alpha Blondy”, according to the general manager of Masa, Yacouba Konate.

During the launch ceremony, several members of the Ivorian government, including Ministers Hamed Bakayoko, Gilbert Kafana Koné, Albert Toikeusse Mabri, Aka Aouélé, Mariatou Koné and Robert Beugré Mambé were made Commanders in the Order of Cultural Merit for their contribution to the promotion of culture.

Yacouba Konaté was also made Commander in the Order of Cultural Merit for his spirit of openness and creativity which has helped to raise MASA to the highest level.
