He will perform, among others, the song “Dance dance beautiful people club”, which will be officially released on June 7th

Prince Kestamg is going about his business serenely. Well known by the African diaspora in France, the artist is preparing to take the stage at the B2B International Music Industry Market (Midem). The event takes place from 4 to 7 June, just a few days after the Cannes International Film Festival.

Midem, one of the biggest music industry events in Europe, will welcome more than 4800 participants from 80 countries around the world. A great showcase for this artist of Cameroonian origin, who will present the song “Dance dance beautiful people club” on 7 June, the date of its official release. He will be in showcase on 5 June from 8.30 pm at Barbarella.

reflects the culture of the grassfields in his music. And it’s not just with his castanets. He sings ancestral tunes with modern instruments, all covered by a perfectly controlled voice. He has had to work hard to achieve this.

The artist admits that in the beginning he sang with his throat. A meeting with a coach and a stop at the conservatory enabled him to learn to sing with his stomach, but above all with his heart.

So he puts his heart into his projects. It is not for nothing that he received the Prize for Artistic Innovation at the 2018 Cannes International Pan-African Film Festival. He had taken the stage at this event when he had just lost his father. For this man, music is stronger than the grief of losing a loved one.

This year he was back on stage at the Cannes International Pan-African Film Festival for the opening night. He gave a high quality performance.
